Children from Class 6 accompanied the headteacher to the Olympic Development Agency. They visited a viewing gallery in Hackney and were able to see the building of the Olympic Site. The stadium was particularly impressive. One of the children signed a pledge on behalf of the school to say that we will take part in sporting activities leading up to the Olympics in 2012.

The pledge was to develop the Olympic and Paralympic values of friendship, excellence, respect, determination, inspiration, courage, and equality through our participation in:
Health-promoting physical activities and sporting competitions
Artistic and Cultural activitioes, exhibitions, performances and festivals
Community events and celebrations
